Hi everybody, my name is Joshua!
This is my first post to my own webpage to keep track of my journeys throughout Europe starting in Holland. I’ve just graduaded as a PhD in Chemistry and before starting my carreer I’ve always dreamed about travelling through Europe first (I have nice sponsors..thx mom and dad!). So to keep in contact with my family and friends in the US, I’ll be reporting my experiences of my journey on my own website/diary.
Today just arrived on Schiphol Amsterdam from New York, it was a comfortable flight without any problems. Dutch Customs were very friendly and got in without diffilcuties. Picked up my bag and went to Amsterdam centre hotels with the train, an excellent connection btw…arrived there in 20 minutes!
Booked a hotel in advance, no problem with asking the way to my hotel…very friendly people and all talking quite good english. I booked a single room for 2 nights at Victoria Hotel in Amsterdam without breakfast. I’m going to take a rest now, I’ll see you guys later!
